The Whitespace

Going from idea to product is where the magic lies. Transporting a thought, an idea, a dream to something real. When you’re out to build something the moments you’ll remember the most is when you had the idea to do it and when the idea was finally done. The moment you should treasure the most is the middle part.

Enter the whitespace. The whitespace is everything that happens from idea to conclusion. In this space, you’ll put the real work, the effort, the activity, the execution. You’ll reply to the why, the what, the how, many times if you’re taking an idea forward.

If you’re on it right now, treasure it. Don’t rush. If you rush the whitespace, you’re ruining the end result. Understand you’re in the whitespace, where the magic happens.

Your focus should be on the whitespace, with an aim for the finish line. Not the other way around.

The result will come in the conclusion, but when it’s over, it’s done. You won’t be able to change the outcome, but you’re in control of everything done within the whitespace.
